After graduating with honours from the University of Western Australia in Engineering and Commerce and gaining over 10 years’ experience in the Mining and Construction industry Anthony wanted to venture into a new adventure. A new challenge.

Always being interested in the creative field, Anthony always had an interest in diversifying his design skills by experimenting with crafts and fashion.

In mid 2015, Anthony proposed to his girlfriend Danielle and while attempting to find apparel to suit his engagement outfit he felt there was a need for handmade quality bow-ties and pocket squares. SQUIRE LAD was born. The name originated from a term of endearment an old friend, Steve, a very-British gentleman used to call him after several lagers while Anthony was working rurally in North-West Western Australia.
